The Past Two Months

It's been a busy two months for the Petersons. It's hard to believe the wedding was only two months ago - it feels like two years ago! We have some big news to share but we have to wait a little while longer till we make the official announcement. Although lots of people already know. And no, there is no "little Peterson" on the way yet. Below are some pics of what we have been up to lately. Enjoy!
Mothers Day weekend was a super busy weekend. We had the honor of celebrating mothers day with my mom and Scottie's step-mom and we also celebrated both of our dad's birthdays. Wow! Here we are enjoying some wonderful food and family at the Petersons.

One weekday when Scottie had off we decided to check out the Museum of Science and Industry to see the Harry Potter exhibit. Many of you know that I am a HUGE HP fan. The HP Exhibit stays open a lot later than the rest of the museum. So you can imagine my disappointment when I found out that Scottie had never been to the Museum. Can you imagine never seeing the Submarine??? Well, needless to say we are going to go back there in the very near future so he can enjoy that museum! 
Emily, Ashley and I went to a Brewers game on Memorial Day. It was a loooong game. It was 0-0 and they had to do extra innings. But FINALLY they hit a ball to the outfield and brought a run in. It was a GREAT first Brewers game of the season. A friend from Burlington was also there and we got some fun pics.
After living in Chicago for a year, I have come to learn that Cubs fans love to display their "W" flags after games they have won. So here we are making fun of Cubs fans by displaying our W's. I hate to mention that Scottie and I are going to a Cubs game in July. I have to admit that I am looking forward to my first trip to Wrigley Field!

The HP exhibit was AMAZING. I would recommend using the device they sell that explains everything in the exhibit. It was tiring explaining everything to Scottie! Before we were let in to the exhibit, the woman at the door told our group that at least one of us had to know the charm they used in the Harry Potter movies that unlocks the door - so we could "unlock" the door to the exhibit. Out of all the people among our group, I was the only nerd that knew it was ALOHAMORA!!! Thank God, otherwise who knows if we would be able to get in! :)
The only pic we could take was in front of the Ford that Ron and Harry drove in HP II. I was sooo excited here.
